Member Merle Schwikkard noted on walking
in the area. I
used my eyes ears and mouth and legs to come across This Give away signs
(or help yourself signs to the criminal mind) 1)Boundary gates left wide open, no one in attendance.2)Garage doors wide-open, contents in full view
from the street. 3)Old security company signs of long gone security companies not removed.
( do these people have security at all) 4)Domestic
staff working while in full view of the street. Grill gates of the house
standing wide open. 5)
Unattended workmen working on your house, answer queries and give out your
details to me a stranger. 6)Do your have a well-positioned and clear number on the wall of your
property. Often no intercom to call you on? 7)Do you or your domestic open your electronic gate to anyone? A stranger
with a story? Are your children and possessions safe? 8)Dogs barking continuously and no-one comes to investigate. ( nobody
home, a good give away sign) 9)Dogs barking at night. Are they watch dogs? If you want to be on good
terms with your neighbourhood-----do something. Find out why they are
barking and address the problem. 10) Be a proud, tidy, friendly and safe neighbourhood. Form a
neighbourhood watch with your neighbours. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Come to the next meeting and give feed back. Talk about your concerns and
ask for help or suggestions. We will try and help with the aid of the
